Sophie Scarf/Shawl
Discover the fun of knitting up this quick Sophie Scarf, using only 1 skein of yarn. In this 3 hour class students will learn the techniques used in this pattern including how to knit the built-in I-cord edges, special increase (M1 & kfb) & decreases (skp) and tricks to help you keep track of your increases and decreases.
Also included will be discussions about various options for changing the width and length of your scarf in order to adapt the pattern to get the size scarf you want. By the end of this class you will have all of the skills required to complete this project on your own. This is a quick and addictive project and makes a perfect gift. You may also choose to use these techniques to knit the larger Sophie Shawl.

- Sophie Scarf pattern by Petite Knit (please purchase on Ravelry prior to the class)
- 3.5mm knitting needles (straight or 24" long circular)
- One skein of Fingering Weight yarn
- scissors, darning needle, stitch markers
